Kemal Ademi started his football career at FC Herisau and at FC St. Gallen 1879 where he played his way through the youth teams. In 2015 he made the move to Germany, to TSG Hoffenheim´s 2nd team. In the Summer of 2018, the 1.96m tall striker signed for Neuchatel Xamax FCS, where he scored 10 goals in played 31 fixtures. Ademi´s contract at Xamax expires on the 30. June 2019.

FC Basel has managed to sign one of Switzerland´s most sought after talents. The Swiss striker with Kosavan roots will contribute to FCB´s offense, especially due to his height and physical ability.
